INSIGHT, IDENTITY, INNOVATION FOR EASTERN INDONESIA

Through deep insight, cultural identity, and local-driven innovation, we shape a brighter future for Eastern Indonesia

Projects we are focusing on

Multidiciplinary Research
Cultural Preservation and Indigenous Knowledge

This area focuses on conducting in-depth and cross-disciplinary research covering the cultural, social, economic, environmental, and political dimensions of Eastern Indonesia. By combining methods from the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and religions. The project seeks to uncover the complexities of the region and provide evidence-based insights that can shape policy and development strategies.

This focus aims to document, protect, and revitalize the rich cultural heritage and indigenous knowledge systems of Eastern Indonesia. Through collaborative efforts with local communities and elders, the project supports the continuity of local languages, rituals, oral histories, and traditional arts that are at risk of extinction due to modernization and marginalization.

Community Empowerment
Knowledge Production and Dissemination

Empowering local communities is central to the project’s mission. This includes supporting educational initiatives, cultural entrepreneurship, and capacity-building programs that encourage self-reliance, confidence, and sustainability. The focus is on enabling communities to lead their own development using local strengths and knowledge.

This area emphasizes the creation and open dissemination of research findings, data, and stories from Eastern Indonesia. Through publications, digital platforms, and public events, the project ensures that local perspectives are recognized, accessible, and contribute to broader academic and public discussions.
